Celestial Cosmetics - Poppy's Flower Swatch

A while ago I discovered Aussie Indie polishes and set about expanding my collection. This might have been good for my nails but not so good for my bank account. I have officially ceased collecting until I can find a job but before I went on my no buy, I purchased some beautiful polishes from Celestial Cosmetics. Today I have some swatches of one of those polishes, Poppy's Flower, to show you.

Now, I actually did this swatch a while ago. Since then I have learned how to apply glitter jelly polishes better. I've also worked out my photo issues so sorry these swatches are kind of rough but I still wanted to share them.

Poppy's Flower has small and large black glitters and some scattered larger red glitter, all suspended in a dark red jelly base. In these swatches I used three coats, plus a 4th to distribute the red glitter better as I was having difficulties getting them on the nail. I used one coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat to smooth it all over.

I really do love this polish as dark red is definitely one of my favourite colours to wear. I also love how squishy this looks. However I definitely need to work on the application side of things but I'm sure that will come with time and practice!

All these pictures were taken in a light box. I provided a link to Celestial Cosmetics website up the top if you're interested in this polish!
