Bumble Bee Nail Art

If you know me at all, you would know I have a thing for bees. My name Melissa, in Greek, means honey bee and ever since I was little I've always enjoyed cute bee related items. Therefore when I had the opportunity to do some bee nails for an instagram competition, I jumped on it.

So there is a sort of story behind these. Basically the honey bee has gone out to collect some nectar from the flowers, taken it back to the hive and produced some honey (the thumb). The polishes I used for this are Rimmel - Sunshine, Ulta3 - Black Satin and the rest is acrylic paint.

Everything was free handed using a combination of the polishes and acrylic paint and both brushes and tooth picks. A little annoyed over the quality of the yellow nail polish I was working with as I would have liked to tape the design on my pinky, but it turned out ok in the end.

I hope you like these. Sorry about the lack in variation of hand poses, there was only one way to show off the bumblebee! Once again don't forget to follow and comment if you like what you see.
